Christina Coomer
BIOGRAPHY
Christina is a student in the MA in French program. She completed her BAs in French, English, and Arts Studies in 2019. She lived in France from 2020-2022 where she was an Assistante d’Anglais at Collège Victor Hugo in Paris, France and a Professeure d’Anglais at Enigma École d’informatique in Lille, France. She completed her first master's degree in 2022, specializing in Victorian literature under the tutelage of Dr. Josephine Guy at the University of Nottingham. Her research interests include 18th-19th Century French Romantic literature, 18th-century French art & society, French New Wave cinema, Belle Époque Paris, and the Rococo art movement. She is a member of the Nineteenth-Century French Studies Association and the International Comparative Literature Association.
