Biography

Stephanie Diane Tsakeu Mazan was born in Yaoundé, Cameroon (a country considered as “Africa in Miniature”). She taught French for six years in High Schools in her country. She has been a French instructor for two years at The University of New Mexico and will be starting a new experience at the University of Virginia this Fall. She received both a B.A and a Maîtrise at University of Yaoundé I; a Master of Arts at the University of New Mexico. She is now pursuing her PhD studies at the University of Virginia. Her main focus is: “the Sublime and the Politics”.
